The weather had been good all week and Kalmar was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Dominator. Canadian Fighter ended up behind the leader. Copperbeec got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Canadian Fighter was in fine shape and held the lead. driver couldn't keep Pink Cocktail to trotting so they were disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Copperbeec followed by Awesome Flying One and Radiating Princess. Lane two Dominator followed by Canadian Fighter and Lotus Flower.



driver couldn't keep Copperbeec to trotting so they were disqualified. Dominator sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Lotus Flower was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Oklahoma Sugar galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Dominator didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
