Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Calming Scout sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Shining Lady galloped way to long and was disqualified.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Skipping Stardust sprinted to the front. Mrs Duobtfire was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Excellent Ex was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Simple Reason took the lead rather easily. Mrs Duobtfire galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Lone Piece accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Lone Wave galloped for 10 m. Shining Lady galloped for 40 m.

True Evolution galloped way to long and was disqualified. Simple Reason litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Lone Wave won. Lone Piece came in second. Excellent Ex caught third place.
