One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gentleman Stone could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m. Screaming Moon suddenly started to galop. Aki Antti-Roiko had to struggle to get Screaming Moon to tror again and succeded after 20 m.

Green Light saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Big Roy looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Only Victorious couldn't come out from behind the leader, Green Light. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Green Light followed by Moving Striker and Great Big Boy. Lane two Big Roy followed by Gentleman Stone and Only Victorious. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 20 m. Unknown galloped for 10 m.

Green Light kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Bad Dream showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Green Light kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Verde Smeraldo was disturbed and galopped for 0 m.

Big Roy made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Gentleman Stone.
