The sun was shining on Kalmar today. A perfect day for trotting.

The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Gloooria. Half Half ended up behind the leader. Holy Pearl got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Speedy Rocket, Half Half, Lou Reed, Destiny, Gloooria, Joe`s Hopper, Thunder General, Proprio Adesso.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Speedy Rocket today. It continued in the lead. Pacific Princess started to gallop after 1500m and Tommy Zackrisson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Thunder General suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Gloooria won the race after a spectacular finish.
