The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Holy News sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Close To Perfection sprinted to the front.




Memorible Ballet Dancer sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Memorible Ballet Dancer followed by Carbon and Close To Perfection. Lane two Ciabatta followed by Prince Universe and Prince Captain.




Memorible Ballet Dancer was still in the lead after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Ciabatta galoped for 40 m. Memorible Ballet Dancer kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Ciabatta sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
