The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Forus this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Turning Sky could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Lieutenant Stereo, Superman, Gentleman Stone, Max Technology, Langoreux, Blue Piper, Falling Sword, Calming Star. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Gentleman Stone sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. Odilon suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Gentleman Stone today. It continued in the lead. Unknown galloped for 30 m. Odilon galloped for 20 m.



Odilon was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Odilon was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Gentleman Stone kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Gentleman Stone today who won before Superman and Falling Sword.
