It had been raining for several days at Färjestad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Side By Side. Good Looking Stone ended up behind the leader. Perfect Lovebreaker got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Side By Side was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. The leader got disturbed by something and Perfect Lovebreaker took the lead rather easily. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m. Perfect Lovebreaker galloped for 60m and was disqualified. The leader got disturbed by something and Side By Side took the lead rather easily. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Troubling Closet galop. Troubling Closet lost 20 m. Troubling Closet was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Brave Power galopped for 10 m on the homestretch. Piccolo Pe never caught up with Side By Side who won. Good Looking Stone came third. Results
