One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Once Again could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Thunder Spirit was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Once Again clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Let It Out was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Once Again today. It continued in the lead.

driver couldn't keep King Warrior to trotting so they were disqualified. Once Again kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 King Star, 2 Once Again, 3 Chris Columbus.
