One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ride The Lightning sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Meadowlands Racer saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Simple Reason to trotting so they were disqualified.




Shining Lady sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Shining Lady followed by Meadowlands Racer and Captured Hero. Lane two Ride The Lightning followed by Trembling Stardust and Metal Machine.



Ride The Lightning suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Captured Hero galop. Captured Hero lost 10 m.




Shining Lady won. Meadowlands Racer came in second. Trembling Stardust caught third place.
