Only a humble breeze blew over Leangen this day. The track where in perfect shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sliding Bullet took the lead after a very quick start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Progressive Line, Sliding Bullet, Girl Next Door, Onside Traveller, Barbora Bakaou, , , .

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Progressive Line was still in the lead after 1500m.

Sliding Bullet put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Onside Traveller was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Progressive Line suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Progressive Line didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
