One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Silverboy could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m.

Silverboy was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Silverboy clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Silverboy followed by Voyageuse and Cute Diary. Lane two Slingshot followed by General Gold and .

Silverboy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Cute Diary galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Silverboy didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
