Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Leangen track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sneaky Snake could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Diestro Dar Siempre was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




Aiga Bakaou quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Supreme Victory looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Confident Angel couldn't come out from behind the leader, Aiga Bakaou. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Aiga Bakaou followed by Confident Angel and Image Du Jour. Lane two Supreme Victory followed by Sneaky Snake and Verso Entreprise.




Aiga Bakaou didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



With only a little left of the race First Blood galoped for 10 m. Sneaky Snake suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and First Blood started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Confident Angel won. Image Du Jour came in second. Sneaky Snake caught third place.
