Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Solvalla track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sikre Jeres. Mile Runner ended up behind the leader. Helpful Rock got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Who Is Scatman, Atomic Paul, Steel Hero, Frasses Femte, Sikre Jeres, Lalli, Mile Runner, Case Closed. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Sikre Jeres sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Case Closed accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Helpful Rock speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Claes Sjöström tried a little too much on the homestretch and Frasses Femte started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Sikre Jeres won the race after a spectacular finish.
