The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Simple Reason could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Cool Me Down was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

Simple Reason was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

The leader got disturbed by something and Seulement Curieux took the lead rather easily.
