The weather had been good all week and Solvalla was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blue Piper took the lead after a very quick start. Friendship suddenly started to galop. Fredrik B Larsson had to struggle to get Friendship to tror again and succeded after 30 m. One That Counts was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Hard To Please sprinted to the front.




Thunder took the lead after 1000m. Hard To Please didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Thunder was still in the lead after 1500m.




Blue Piper seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Friendship galoped for 30 m. Thunder suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Thunder kept the speed the whole finish and won before Bad To The Bone and Hard To Please.
