One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Old Cruiser sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Paiseanta Kemp was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Gold Thunder was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Whataya Overdrive, More Than This, Red Dawn, Gold Thunder, Les Équitable Choix, Old Cruiser, Jack Of Diamonds, Falling Legend.

More Than This sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Legendary Bob was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

More Than This was still in the lead after 1500m. Red Dawn started to gallop after 1500m and Ove A Lindqvist had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

More Than This sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
