Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Örebro track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Quick Thinking could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Quick Thinking started to galop and lost 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Lalli sprinted to the front. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Come With Me galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Lalli clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

With only a little left of the race Battery galoped for 40 m. Lalli clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Lalli kept the speed the whole finish and won before Quick Thinking and Avondale Trotter.
