The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Vaggeryd this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Midnight Mover could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Leontine started to galop and lost 50 m.

Elegance Boko saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Keen Comet who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Leontine looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Cartoon Figure Fred couldn't come out from behind the leader, Elegance Boko.

Elegance Boko was still in the lead after 1500m.

Elegance Boko was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Elegance Boko were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Gouillard made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Walking Valley.
