One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Fast Pirate. Mojo Pin ended up behind the leader. Power Bullet got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

Mojo Pin saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Power Bullet sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
