The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Diamond Star could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Jalas Avustaja sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Diamond Star looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Diamond Star kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Diamond Star sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






No-one could catch Diamond Star today who won before Space Sweet Orbit and Mandalay Dream.
