One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Republicain. Jean Baptiste ended up behind the leader. Douze got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m.




Republicain was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Republicain clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Jean Baptiste started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Republicain didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
