One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bonheur Rapide found a gap and took the lead. Moonlight Queen followed before Ehdoton.




This is the positions after 500m. Ehdoton, Bonheur Rapide, Moonlight Queen, Rankainen, Ghostly Starshine, Front Printer, Coughing Pony, . Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Moonlight Queen took the lead rather easily. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Bonheur Rapide looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Coughing Pony was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Rankainen galloped way to long and was disqualified. Moonlight Queen speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Bonheur Rapide never caught up with Moonlight Queen who won. Ehdoton came third.
