The weather had been good all week and Gävle was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Flower Ruby sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Queens Homme suddenly started to galop. Jim Oscarsson had to struggle to get Queens Homme to tror again and succeded after 30 m. Tally Ho Joe was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Sunny Afternoon who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Queens Homme sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Paradies Koralle saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Paradies Koralle were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sunny Afternoon galop. Sunny Afternoon lost 40 m.

Paradies Koralle didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
