One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lakkauttaa could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Golden Lightning was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Silver At Least sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Silver At Least today. It continued in the lead. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. Cool As Ice started to gallop after 1500m and Jörgen Sjunnesson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Golden Lightning gallopped for 20 m.



With only a little left of the race Golden Lightning galoped for 40 m. Lakkauttaa litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Lakkauttaa kept the speed the whole finish and won before Silver At Least and Happy Thrasher.
