One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Last Man Standing. Treat Me Bad ended up behind the leader. Breaking Starshine got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Breaking Starshine, Spanish Boots, Last Man Standing, Treat Me Bad, Two Dollars Up, Petticoat Lane, Dancing Breeze, Beautiful Jewel. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Spanish Boots took the lead after 1000m. Last Man Standing didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Breaking Starshine was disturbed and galoped 10 m. driver couldn't keep Intelligent Wolf to trotting so they were disqualified.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Spanish Boots today. It continued in the lead. Space Lightning showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Space Lightning was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Spanish Boots were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Hans-Owe Sundberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Treat Me Bad started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Final standings. 1 Last Man Standing, 2 Petticoat Lane, 3 Spanish Boots.
