One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Close Beard could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m.




No Matter What saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m.




No Matter What was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop No Matter What today. It continued in the lead.




No Matter What sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



No Matter What looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Fair Top galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Fair Top was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Winner of todays race was No Matter What. Shining Moon came in second. Close Beard became third.
