Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Stellung took the lead after a very quick start. Second Commencer was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Don't Cry saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Second Commencer sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Mesdemoiselles suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. Stellung accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Long Time Ago gallopped for 20 m. Stellung didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Stellung was safely in the lead after 2500m. With only a little left of the race Don't Cry galoped for 40 m. Stellung kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Second Commencer galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. Don't Cry won. Stellung came in second. Mesdemoiselles caught third place.
