One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Polaris sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Polaris clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Polaris was still in the lead after 1500m. Sad Lemonade started to gallop after 1500m and Erik Adielsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Polaris looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Polaris. Calming Hero came in second. Sad Lemonade became third.
