It had been raining for several days at Umåker but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





This Is It found a gap and took the lead. Cannonball followed before Final Whistle. Pretty Nova was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




This Is It was in fine shape and held the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. Final Whistle was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one This Is It followed by Goofy Witch and Final Whistle. Lane two Cannonball followed by Nice Meeting You and Pretty Nova. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 20 m.




This Is It was still in the lead after 2000m.



This Is It looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was This Is It. Cannonball came in second. Goofy Witch became third.
