One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Moonlight Daffodil could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Old Night, Captured Hero, Moonlight Breeze, Moonlight Daffodil, Light Thrasher, One Step Away, Colorado Appaloosa, Steel Box. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Solid Valley who started to galop and lost 30 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and One Step Away took the lead rather easily. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.

Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 40 m. The leader got disturbed by something and Moonlight Daffodil took the lead rather easily.

Colorado Appaloosa galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.

Light Thrasher sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
