One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sono Vincitore. Mr Miracle ended up behind the leader. Suger Pearl got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Dream Happy, Sono Vincitore, Carrick, Bring The Power, Mr Miracle, Suger Pearl, Chris Columbus, Thunder Spirit. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dream Happy followed by Bring The Power and Mr Miracle. Lane two Carrick followed by Suger Pearl and Chris Columbus.

Carrick was first on the homestretch followed by Bring The Power and Suger Pearl.

Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Back On Beam started to galopp and lost 10 m. Back On Beam galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Bring The Power won the race after a spectacular finish.
