One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Giant Empire took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m.

Dove Heaven quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Giant Empire took the lead rather easily. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m. Seconds From Explode galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Giant Empire today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 40 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 30 m. Tout De Suite started to gallop after 1500m and Åke Svanstedt had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Giant Empire sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Midnight Miracle was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Tout De Suite litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Giant Empire made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Tout De Suite.
