One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Paleface Avenger took the lead after a very quick start. Quarcio Du Chene suddenly started to galop. Charles Degiorgio had to struggle to get Quarcio Du Chene to tror again and succeded after 30 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Quarcio Du Chene sprinted to the front. Stardust galloped way to long and was disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Just Now looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 40 m. driver couldn't keep Quarcio Du Chene to trotting so they were disqualified.



Just Now sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Pas De Promettre won the race after a spectacular finish.
