The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Rättvik this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sleepy Giggle. Prime Guard ended up behind the leader. Majarajah got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Sliding Scope was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

Power Flash quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Max Major took the lead after 1000m. Prime Guard didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Emajh Dustizit was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Prime Guard accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Top Reward to trotting so they were disqualified.

Power Flash was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Prime Guard sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Perfect Spice sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
