The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Tornio today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Quebec Warrior took the lead after a very quick start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 20 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

Dominator quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Quebec Warrior took the lead rather easily. Dominator galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Clever Missile accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Quebec Warrior started to gallop after 1500m and Markku Nieminen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Crazy For Pearls seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.

Crazy For Pearls kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Elegant Lovebreaker galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.

Crazy For Pearls kept the speed the whole finish and won before Close Arraow and Running Bandwith.
