The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Protection Angel. Platinum Rock ended up behind the leader. Bill Globetrotter got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Kitchen Cooker, Free My Mind, Golden Airforce, La Perle D'or, Platinum Rock, Bill Globetrotter, Protection Angel, Blue Java.

La Perle D'or sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Blue Java suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

La Perle D'or was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Platinum Rock sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Lucky Starshine was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.

No-one could catch Platinum Rock today who won before Protection Angel and Golden Airforce.
