It had been raining for several days at Vermo but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Tüti took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Antiikkinen Aikoinaan sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m.
Isä Kulta sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m.
Mainstay Boy saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.
Adios Amigos showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Mainstay Boy kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.
In The Sunshine was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.
Mainstay Boy were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Markku Nieminen tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Adios Amigos started to galopp and lost 50 m.
Adios Amigos galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.
Tüti never caught up with
Mainstay Boy who won.
Antiikkinen Aikoinaan came third.
