One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Quality Sunset sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Kilkenny started to galop and lost 20 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Dancing Sensation started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The Sign took the lead after 1000m. Quality Sunset didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Starwife galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Diamond Delight was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




The Sign was still in the lead after 1500m.



The Sign looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch The Sign today who won before Quality Sunset and Starwife.
