One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Madame Thénardier took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Glowing Whirlwind started to galop and lost 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Lucky Star sprinted to the front. Sowing Top started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Beautiful In Red looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Glowing Whirlwind couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lucky Star.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Lucky Star today. It continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Glorious Diamond galoped for 30 m. Beautiful In Red litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Glowing Whirlwind galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Madame Thénardier sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
