The sun was shining on Solänget today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Leonardo could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Perfect King, Glorious Pearl, Lucky Saint, Away From Home, Leonardo, Unknown, Pirate Princess, Miracle Touch.




Lucky Saint took the lead after 1000m. Perfect King didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Lucky Saint was still in the lead after 1500m.



Lucky Saint were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Unknown galoped way to long and was disqualified. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Unknown galop. Unknown lost 40 m. Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Unknown started to galopp and lost 20 m. Lucky Saint galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. Pirate Princess galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Away From Home sprinted over the finishline before Perfect King and Glorious Pearl.
