The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Phantom Pearl could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Ciao Bella suddenly started to galop. Peter Untersteiner had to struggle to get Ciao Bella to tror again and succeded after 20 m. Declaring The Word showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Backstabbing News was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Brave Blast suddenly started to galop. Olle Goop had to struggle to get Brave Blast to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Saint-Étienne, Au Revoir, Brave Blast, Genius Mind, Prince Of Power, Ciao Bella, Phantom Pearl, Fight Back Victory.




The leader got disturbed by something and Genius Mind took the lead rather easily.




Prince Of Power saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Genius Mind gallopped for 10 m.



Prince Of Power looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Prince Of Power kept the speed the whole finish and won before Genius Mind and Ciao Bella.
