The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lying Ruby found a gap and took the lead. Make Contact followed before Twisted Thistle. Access To Love galloped way to long and was disqualified. Avril Amie galloped way to long and was disqualified.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Cloudy Sky sprinted to the front.

Cloudy Sky clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Lying Ruby saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Lying Ruby kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Make Contact galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Speeding Angel sprinted over the finishline before Waving Pie and Twisted Thistle.
