One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Falling Rose took the lead after a very quick start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Serpentine sprinted to the front. Igglepiggle was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Falling Rose looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Heavy Sword couldn't come out from behind the leader, Serpentine.

Heavy Sword looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Smelly Feet gallopped for 50 m.

Serpentine was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Heavy Sword sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Visual Phenomenon never caught up with Heavy Sword who won. Falling Rose came third.
