The weather had been good all week and Turku was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Pommac Francais.

Bear ended up behind the leader.
Travelling
Twister got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m.

Bear quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m.
Travelling
Twister sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Pommac Francais sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Fearless Fighter started to galopp and lost 10 m.
Pommac Francais was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Markku Nieminen tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Once In A Lifetime started to galopp and lost 40 m.
Once In A Lifetime showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
