One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Where I Belong could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 20 m.

Shriekback quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Quick Stone sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Quick Stone today. It continued in the lead.

Where I Belong put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

With only a little left of the race Viking Berserk galoped for 30 m. Quick Stone suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Viking Berserk was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Viking Berserk galopped for 40 m on the homestretch. Viking Berserk was disturbed and galopped for 0 m.

Final standings. 1 Shriekback, 2 Quick Stone, 3 King Of Racing.
