One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Leaving Sydney took the lead after a very quick start. Pointing Forest showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Photogenic saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Sowing Wave took the lead after 1000m. Photogenic didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sowing Wave followed by Photogenic and Bohemians. Lane two Calling It Love followed by Leaving Sydney and Holy Spring. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Sowing Wave galoped for 20 m. Calling It Love suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Lars Lindberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Sad Madness started to galopp and lost 20 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sad Madness galop. Sad Madness lost 20 m.

Photogenic won the race after a spectacular finish.
