It had been raining for several days at Kalajoki but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Thunderhead took the lead after a very quick start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 50 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 10 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Thunderhead clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Thunderhead today. It continued in the lead. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Thunderhead was still in the lead after 2000m.

Thunderhead looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Aito galop. Aito lost 50 m. Aito galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Final standings. 1 Tamalanac, 2 Thunderhead, 3 Amazing Mumford.
