One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Flower Garden sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Åke Lindblom wanted a little to much in the start and Flower Garden galoped for 30 m.

Flower Garden was in fine shape and held the lead.

Fields Of Gold looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ten Of Hearts couldn't come out from behind the leader, Flower Garden.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Flower Garden today. It continued in the lead.

Flower Garden kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Worth A Shot was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Fields Of Gold was first on the homestretch followed by Flower Garden and Ten Of Hearts.

Worth A Shot galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Worth A Shot galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. Flower Garden was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.

Fields Of Gold kept the speed the whole finish and won before Ten Of Hearts and Porcelain Doll.
