One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Thunder General took the lead after a very quick start. Starshine
Box suddenly started to galop. Jan-Åke Hoas had to struggle to get Starshine
Box to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

The Clubber sprinted to the front. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

This Is It looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Winner's Choise couldn't come out from behind the leader,

Winner's Choise seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.

Necklace showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
