Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Exclusive Release. Deserve Attention ended up behind the leader. Alien Disorder got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Twisted Holiday quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Exclusive Release looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Confident Speed couldn't come out from behind the leader, Twisted Holiday.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Twisted Holiday followed by Confident Speed and Prince Of Magic. Lane two Exclusive Release followed by Fortune Ticket and Deserve Attention.



Exclusive Release suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Exclusive Release didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
